Research Snapshots
We would like to give conference delegates the opportunity to learn about each other’s research and share thoughts about their methodologies and challenges. To this end, we have programmed two “Research Snapshots” sessions, to take place at the end of both the Friday and the Saturday proceedings.
Research Snapshots will consist of very brief presentations (max. 4 minutes) in which delegates can introduce themselves and their research to the rest of the audience, with a focus on the questions: how do you interrogate early recordings? What are the challenges and opportunities that your research opens up?
If you wish to be considered to take part in the Research Snapshots sessions, please send an e-mail (subject: Research Snapshots) to Eva.MoredaRodriguez@glasgow.ac.uk and I.Stanovic@hud.ac.uk by 1st July with the following information:
-Your name and (if applicable) affiliation
-Whether you’ll be attending the Friday or the Saturday session of the conference or both
-A very brief summary of your proposed talk
-Optional: one PowerPoint slide, image or link that you would like to share with the audience (we’re sorry that we aren’t able to accommodate full PowerPoint presentations or multiple links)
Participation in Research Snapshots is of course entirely optional for conference delegates. Please note that you need to be registered for the conference (through the Eventbrite link above) in order to be considered for Research Snapshots.
